RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of our teams who, on behalf of municipal client organizations, carry out maintenance contracts and minor infrastructure work on public areas such as parks, beaches, and playgrounds, as well as exterior building maintenance for schools, preschools, and care homes.

The position is located in the Outdoor Environment Unit within the Land Construction Department of the Technical and Property Administration, where you will work alongside colleagues in Infrastructure, Vehicles, and Storage. Summer and winter on-call duties are included in the role.

Today, we have approximately 35 employees in the Land Construction Department.

QUALIFICATIONS

We prefer that you have horticultural training (at least upper secondary level) with a focus on green area maintenance or equivalent education considered by the employer to be of equal value. You should have at least 5 years of experience in large-scale operations and a strong commitment to gardening work. You have high work ethics and are ambitious and responsible.

We are looking for you who are a team player capable of contributing both in groups and in independent assignments. We place great importance on your personality to become part of the team. You must also be flexible in the face of changes during the workday and able to adapt your work.

You are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and are computer literate.

You hold a Category B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles.

Merits: Professional certificate and/or training in chainsaws and brush cutters, plant knowledge and pruning, as well as general infrastructure knowledge. Competence in tree pruning is a plus. Training such as Working on the Road, Hot Work, Lift, and Occupational Health and Safety courses. Experience with machinery, both small and large machines used in daily work.
